About Brad
Brad commenced his trade with an award-winning builder and has continued to strive to ensure quality workmanship across all trades in all projects. His strong leadership skills and superior work ethic have afforded him the opportunity to deliver results while leading from within the supervisory team progressively and successfully.
Projects
Construction Manager / install supervisor
Restoration of the Geraldton lighthouse;
Opal Aged Care Facility Geraldton;
Maragon Childcare Centre Baldivis;
Multiple residential builds throughout Perth and the mid-west including multi-storey;
Construction and maintenance of remote facilities including 200-man staff accommodation, villages resident accommodation and supporting infrastructure. Works valued at $80 million AUD and performed on a remote Pacific island;
Construction of new school, community centre, corrections facility;
Nauru Project Construction and ongoing maintenance including a new hospital (surgery, paediatrics, imaging, in and out patient facilities, pathology, treatment clinics);
Rio Tinto Yandi; Camp Lambert, Marandoo and Weelamarra; and
Rottnest Island maintenance and services.
Responsibilities
Brad was responsible for all site-based contact for the design, estimating and procurement of materials for the install and building department as well as his individual works. He was required to have a clear understanding of the scope of works, budget and program whilst maintaining a high standard of company culture and work ethic. In particular Brad was required to:
Be the building subject matter expert and registered builder;
Manage and oversee all buildings and construction works to ensure the highest of quality and that building works comply with AS/NZ;
Schedule works, manage and update project schedules;
Tendering and estimation;
Procurement of building materials;
Oversee scope, engineering and approvals;
Support Site Management with application of project specific management plans, HSE management plans and QA;
Record, manage and document all changes of design and ensure engineering sign-off; and
Completion of all QA site inspections with client representatives and management of quality documentations ITP’s (Inspection Test Plans) and check sheets.
